Family Details: Our quads were born on June 23, 2009 @Baptist hospital in Oklahoma City. Abigail was born 1st & weighed 2lb 5 oz. Next was her twin sister, Rachael Kathleen. The 3rd one out was our little boy Connor Patrick....he was out whopper who weighed 3lb 2oz.nLast but definitely not least, we have Kaylee who decided she wasn't ready to leave that nice warm womb to go out into the cold old world....she grabbed the Dr's forceps & the Dr had to pry her fingers off of it one by one!!
Their Mommy had tried as hard as she could to get them each to weigh over 3 lbs, but just couldn't do it, her stats were looking so bad that it was imperative to deliver the babies on June 23rd @ 30 weeks of gestation.
Kaylee & Connor spent about 6 weeks in NICU & the twins stayed about 11 weeks.
Other than breathing treatments on three of the babies & a heart condition that Connor has....they are coming along fine. The expenses are out of this world, but we just make payments to the medical and have been very blessed with friends, family & resale shops we are able to make it with clothes. Diapers & strange things like batteries for their toys (also from garage sales & resale shops)are always in short demand.
